The Veyra Chronicles: Before the Thread

By: ro Z

Before Sera Venn could hear the Thread, before Veyra remembered her, there was Sena.

On Earth, Sena has always heard things no one else can. Hidden signals. Impossible echoes. The feeling that something vast is listening back.

Then Oren Venn finds her.

He knows what she is before she does, and following him means leaving Earth behind for Veyra, a living world of ancient memory, hidden Listeners, and secrets buried beneath generations of fear.

Sena and Oren build a life together anyway.

A blue door. A marriage. A daughter.

But Sera is no ordinary child.

Before she is even born, an ancient consciousness called First is transferred into her developing mind. And Sera is not the only life caught in that moment.

There were two.

One child remained.

One was lost.

Or so everyone believed.

As buried truths surface, Sena and Oren are forced into impossible choices about family, sacrifice, memory, and who gets to decide what a life is for.

Before the Thread is the origin story of Sena, Oren, Sera, and the sister history tried to erase-a sweeping science-fantasy prequel about love, identity, lost memory, hidden worlds, and the choices that shaped The Veyra Chronicles.
