Technical and Thrilling

Excellent book for anyone interested in making money with stocks. It really makes you think. I've never been to Wall Street, but after reading this book I feel like I was there. Couldn't put it down!

Super duper book!

This book is a wonderful read from beginning to end...enjoyed it immensely.

No sleep before midnight, I just couldn't put TVM down.

This book was a thrill a minute. Rhodes must have spents years on research. I felt I was in a combination computer and financial honors level PHD MIT course, except the best part of it, it was fun. Rhodes takes the time to explain everything so the layman can understand. It's a great read, I have referred this book to a lot of friends who also couldn't put it down. When is the movie ?

A fast paced story of modern day Wall Street.

You can smell the cigar smoke and feel the intense pressure for all the characters to succeeed. Even if you do not work on wall street you will learn that success on Wall Street is more than just the money. It is the control of large customers and being "right". Being right is being smarter than everyone else and you can hardly put a price on that. In other industries it is called talent. On Wall Street It can be a little luck, a lot of personality, and how you can ride the envelope of regulations. Moving truckloads of money around the world is now as easy as pushing a few buttons. The possibilties are now endless and this book demonstrates just that. This story is a great primer for anybody considering this industry as a career today. Stephen Rhodes has written about what he knows and has done his homework.
