At an early age, Buddy Wilson sees a shed on the horizon that no one else can see. When he investigates, it vanishes before he can reach it. He attends college, meets Nina, the love of his life, they are married and grow old together. As Buddy nears death he can finally enter the shed and learn of its significance.
