The Vanguard Protocol: Issue #2 / The Ghost Account

By: R Lopez

A gritty, high-contrast graphic novel and tactical field manual in one. It follows a five-person high school support cell operating in the campus corridors and neighborhood perimeters where institutional systems fail. Not rogue vigilantes: a disciplined, information-gathering shield that protects the vulnerable and immediately activates trusted adults, school resource officers, and law enforcement to finish the job.

- OBSERVATION OVER CONFRONTATION.
Public online information (OSINT, street observation, and peer networks to spot bullying, predation, and isolation before they escalate.
- THE COMMAND CHAIN.
Every piece of field information flows from the student cell up to school resource officers, legal authorities, and adult mentors. Nobody goes alone. Nobody plays hero.

The events in these pages depict cyber grooming and financial sextortion, but the mechanics are entirely real. A fake profile, a sudden avalanche of compliments, an exchange of private images, and an immediate pivot to extortion and demands for money: this happens to real students, boys and girls, in real bedrooms, every single day. The names change. The trap does not. Online predators use engineered panic, isolation, and shame to force silence. They rely on the belief that you are too afraid or embarrassed to tell an adult.
