"The Valley of Spiders" begins with a pursuit for girl. She is wounded and her persecutors are certain they'll catch up fast. Of course, that changes when they enter a weird valley full of clinging threads, cobwebs and spiders. These are massive, measuring half a man's hand. Fear and cowardice permeate this characters throughout the reading. They are not likable, not amiable. This short story leaves you with more questions than answers. It works with the terror arachnids can cause on the human psyche. It is but a passage, a glimpse upon an event to which we are mere spectators.
