Joanna sat looking out the window at the new layer of snow. The snowfall had been extreme this year even for Maine. She had been sitting in front of the fireplace trying to think of the perfect spot to take her friends. The pictures on her tablet were definitely giving her ideas for the perfect vacation getaway. She had been to some of the usual Mexican resorts, but this one seemed to be exceptional. It offered the amenities that would please everyone.
When she ended the call to her travel agent, she was certain this trip was going to be memorable for all of her friends. She had instructed the agent to have the tickets sent to each of the girls by messenger. She had dictated the note that was to be enclosed with each ticket. The agent assured her she would be notified when each delivery was made.
She had not talked to the girls and asked them about a trip. She was hoping the idea for a mysterious destination would entice them all to join her.
