This book offers a comprehensive overview of masterpieces from the Utagawa school from the Edo and Meiji periods, with a focus on Utagawa Toyokuni and his disciples, including Kunisada, Kuniyoshi, Hiroshige, Ochiai Yoshiiku and Tsukioka Yoshitoshi. Also featured are 195 precious Ukiyo-e prints, including works by rivals of the Utagawa school Katsukawa Shun'ei and Kitagawa Utamaro.
