While focusing on the proverbs in A Dance of the Forests by Nobel Prize author Wole Soyinka, the book provides general information about proverbs. It also covers some literary components of proverbs and how some people manipulate proverbs to mean something different from their original meaning. More importantly, this literary work explains the proverbs in A Dance of the Forests in details while providing some of their equivalents in Yoruba language.
