Maximum pleasure, not minimum size

Originally I ordered this cookbook because it came up in a search for miniature books. So initially I was a bit disappointed at the overall dimensions. It is definitely not the standard miniature book from Running Press. However, it's filled with easy, practical and delicious recipes! So my purchase went from being a prop for my doll collection to a serious contender for my cookbook bookshelf in the kitchen. My favorite recipe so far is for oven roasted veggies. What interested me the most is that the recipes in this book are designed to give children (or a novice cook) a wide sampling of many different kinds of foods which are prepared in a simple, healthy manner. My first cookbook as a child had more emphasis on fudge than on veggies. This book has a lot of commonsense ideas to develop a useful repertoire and certainly is not limited to children in its appeal. I genuinely like it!
