Written with a Heavy Post-Tribulation View

This book is well-written but presents the Post-Tribulation viewpoint of the end-times. The hope of God is lacking ultimately in Jay Zinn's message. Post-Tribulation thinking is marred by legalism and fear. Otherwise, this is a good book.

If you enjoy Jonathan Cash's "Age of the Antichrist". . .

you'll love this novel. I love Cash's novel but feel his interaction with angels and demons and the human populas is hurting the actual content of the book. Too many characters and not enough substance. However, with Jay Zinn's "The Unveiling" the interaction is saved to the 1000 year reign save for one guardian angel. I quite enjoy the character developement and the human struggles as well as his interpretive view of Revelations occuring in modern times. The sealing of the 144,000 is a beautiful vision and The Bride abilities prior to being protected in a desert community adds more than many authors try to provide. Jay Zinn also offers a tidbit of what life would be like in the 1st 1000 year reign prior to the final battle with Satan and the New Heaven on earth. I would recommend this book to any and all that enjoy literature of this kind and especially to those that might still be searching for answers.

New Perspective!

I enjoyed the fresh perspective Jay brings to the field of end-time novels. If you want just another sermon don't bother with this book. But if you want to be entertained as you walk through the end times READ IT!
