The Unexpectedly great book...!

I had this book on my bookshelf for about 20 years before I finally got around to reading it last week. I wish I had read it earlier as I found it to be a real gem. The clear and concise chapters start off explaining something inocuous (like on chapter title "Why you never see a rainbow in winter") and leads to a great explanation of the deeper physical phenomena that is the basis of the explanation. A great book, with lots of clear diagrams and drawings to illustrate the points being made. I highly recommended it for anyone wanting a clear explanation of the physical world around them, and a deeper understanding of the physics involved.
