A tapestry of memories such as well as life-changing experiences. Little did I know, that life was never going to be the same-a sacrifice beyond oneself. A young woman with little ones, living in a pit village in County Durham back in the 1990s. Just a normal individual, like everyone.

Until That Night Out Changed.
Until that night out everything .In total disbelief of that unexpected event. Outside and inside the walls of a psychiatric hospital called the County in North Road Durham.

The heart-breaking Separation
The echoes of sadness from separation from loved ones lingered, yet hearts warmed alongside empathy, respect, and dignity of humankind. Friends at arms reach, as well as strangers, offered support during such dark times when needed. The start of such a journey unfolded. That of one of my journeys.
