The ruling leaders of the complex, the "centrals", live a segregated, luxurious life at the expense of the starving "peripheral" workers, who are kept like slaves. At first they enjoy what they see and hear, but their past quickly catches up with them: they dream or recall drastic episodes from their lives in the underground complex. The expedition to the surface could have been a success. However, it gets completely out of control, because without the henchmen of the authorities, the automatic guards, and without the supply of a drug called "Epic Black", the already distrustful mood among the expedition members escalates. Little by little, the cruelest character traits of the participants come to light...
