The Smith family was a normal, typical suburban family. Their young son, Andrew, played in the little league baseball program in town. All seemed perfect and ideal, until they found that the home-plate umpire had a secret; he was a centuries old vampire and yet looked like a typical middle-aged guy but appearances can be deceiving. One day, while picking up her infant daughter from day-care, Gabriella Smith, the matriarch of the family runs into a friend that she knows and comes across a bite mark on her neck and soon Gabby finds out what Mr. Hatmanu; the umpire vampire is up to and knows that she has to put a stop to it before she's next.
