The introduction: These some of my favorite stories, and some of readers' favorites too. "The Ugliest Dragon" is a fairy tale and a love story, and one of my "lives lived" stories. The ending still causes a lump in my throat every time I read it. I came up with a place to be a wondrous backdrop against which the bleak life of one of its inhabitants would stand out. I may explore it further, if time and circumstance permit. "Parallel Lines Meet" blends a traumatic event in my life with a "might-have-been" alternative denouement. "Omagus" is a story of evil, hunger, addiction, and eternal vigilance. "Welcome To The InfernalNet" is also a "lives lived" story, but with a devilish twist. I like my portrayal of hell and His Loathsome Malevolence's life there so much that I intend to return. Hopefully not in freshly discorporated form. "At The End Of Time Waiting For Who Knows" is a modern re-imagining of Samuel Beckett's "Waiting For Godot". "Love to go" is another blending of real details from my life with imagined calamitous world events. A possible afterlife scenario is explored. Lots of wordplay made writing it more fun than it could have been. I hope you enjoy one or more of these stories.
