The entire eleventh chapter of Revelation is explained here in a contextual interpretation that reveals the true identity and function of the two witnesses in the end times. Rather than seeing Revelation as a series of disconnected episodes, the author sees them in a contextual flow where each chapter flows sequentially into the next. The two witnesses' ministry to the church in Revelation 11 results in the emergence of a mature bride seen as the woman clothed with the sun in verse one of Revelation 12. There will come a day very soon, when great fear will grip the hearts of everyone on earth. At that time, God will reveal the witnesses and send them forth to minister in the churches. Their purpose will be to prepare the church for the second coming of Christ. They will see into the hearts of the people and give them specific words from God that will help them rid their lives of all sin and idolatry that they may become that pure, spotless bride for whom Jesus is returning
