A Fabulous find!

This book is a fabulous find. Written in a clear, easily understandable style, it opens up the world of science for the lay reader. It tells the story of our perceptions of time & space as they developed from our biological beginnings, how they have been shaped by artistic and musical discoveries, and how they have continued to evolve in modern physics and astronomy. The book's unique feature is its merging of the "two solitudes" of art and science. Very refreshing. Better than Stephen Hawking.
