If you're looking for a book that has a broad spectrum of information that covers the tools and mechanics of the art of creating moving images this book is it. Although the title suggests it is a reference for TV work alone, those who do corporate videos, interviews, and documentaries will find that the production standards set down by Colby Lewis and Tom Greer cover every aspect of filming required. The sections on camera placement, set design, efficiency of a production that they illustrate are the foundation blocks of a good production. There is a host of information here that translates to filming inside a studio or on a location, just as for TV or feature film. This book is a reference tool that you will find yourself revisiting throughout your career.
