In my profession, every available technique must be utilised, depending on the situation and circumstances.

Would-be transgressors either move off the premises quietly, acknowledging a diplomatic approach.
Or, the other alternative whereby physical persuasion has to be exercised, which either quells their pugilistic desires or triggers their aggressive instincts, turning the whole incident into a bloody and violent encounter.
