It is evening in "Greenwich Village," in "New York City," but not so far away in the distance, a turbulent storm is brewing overhead. A girl called Allyce locks the front door of her parent's fashionable brownstone. Being dressed in 'Versace' apparel and designer jeans. Her mood is joyful, for tomorrow is her birthday. Her friends who share her taste for good food and gambling at cards are coming over. As she makes her way down "Greenwich Avenue." Allyce sees' that the storm is going to be brutal. Having no desire to get drenched, she heads back home, deciding to use an alternate route. Which is through the family's garden.
Despite Allyce being cautious actions, accidentally she steps on a rock hidden in a mound of soil near the fishpond. Nearly twisting her ankle. Her arms abruptly jut out as she attempts to steady herself, trying not to fall. Suddenly, her entire body becomes airborne, leveling her into the cavern of the excavated fishpond.
This will become a life-changing event for Allyce. In the new mysterious world she has entered, she will encounter macho men who still carry "Excalibur" swords and wield "Spanish" daggers. She will become the captive of a brutally handsome sorcerer, who will become her lover. Being fickle concerning many of his personal decisions. He can't decide if he wants to murder her or save her from the hideous "High Chaparral." So he sends his two familiars on the road with her.
Wait, there is another man who is a prince and already in love with Allyce, having seen her at his sister's wedding. She has an accident in the chaparral. He faces the perilous "Chaparral" head on and, the loss of his own life to save hers and get her to safety.
