The truth about forever helped me so much. To this day it is my favorite book. Ever.

The truth about forever is for all teens who appreciate a good coming of age novel. The characters come to life and are so unique, they will stay with you long after you turn the last page. I loved how Macy deals with the communication problems with her mom, and how Dessen works with the inner conflicts between caring for her mom and needing some room to grow into whoever she is. Macy learns that being alone isn’t required to be perfect, and that needing others doesn’t mean that you’re broken or make you any less of a person. Reading how Macy opened up to people really helped me with some of my trust issues, and I loved how relatable Macy is.
