I starts my analysis with the oldest books of the Hebrew Bible, where God is called both "Yahweh" and "Elohim." This book show how the Old and New Testaments grew and change over time and to show the different influences that went into making them form these holy texts. From the Jewish practise of Midrash to the Christian cult of Jesus, from the influence of Saint Paul's letters on the Protestant Reformation to Christian fundamentalism's use of apocalyptic imagery, I look at the context in which these sixty-six books have been interpreted and explains the social needs they were meant to meet. It will change the way we think about the Bible for good.
