Excellent Choice for the Military Family

This book provides excellent opportunities for military families to relate to each other in the current rapid deployment situation. There are many examples of how to stay connected when experiencing extended field problems, deployments, and absences from each other. This book provides a multi-denominational approach to faith that applies to most people when centering their relationship. It is a great read and a must-have for all military couples.

Wonderfully practical ideas for all married couples

Reading through this little book I felt that Janel Lange beautifully illustrated how all married couples can maintain - and improve - their married relationship. Janel's ideas have come from her vantage point of a military wife, so she definitely knows her subject! Young military families, especially those who are now deployed, need this valuable handbook. (Hey, all our young married couples need this book!) It is just so easy to read, and it is chock full of great suggestions! Way to go, Janel!! And God bless us everyone!!

This is one of the best books ever written to help military couples while deployed away from home or separated by duty. I have passed this book on to the Chaplains at Ft. Myer, to every seperated military couple I know, and to even older couples who are separated by contract duty due to military civillian duty. I have sent this to cousins who are deployed and separated in the military. Janel Lange is truly doing holy work with this book. Nancy Brennan

Very insightful book.

I grew up in a military family, and the ideas in this book, particularly having to do with communication, were keys to keeping my parents' marriage (and thus our family life) strong and stable. When my brother deployed just weeks after he was married, my parents made sure he and his wife had this book to read. This book can give any married couple ideas to strengthen their marriage, but especially military couples facing deployment.
