The Traveling Teddy Bear: Meet Sylvia

By Maryann E. Miller

Meet Sylvia, a well-traveled teddy bear with a big personality, a pink camera, and plenty of opinions about the humans around her.

Before joining Sylvia on her adventures around the world, readers can discover the bear behind the stories-her home, her favorite people and stuffed-animal friends, her ever-growing collection of hoodies, and the experiences that turned an ordinary teddy bear into a very determined traveler.

Told with humor, photographs, and Sylvia's unmistakable point of view, Meet Sylvia - The Traveling Teddy Bearintroduces the character at the heart of a growing series of travel picture books. Young readers can meet Sylvia before exploring cities, landmarks, cultures, and everyday adventures alongside her, while adults may find themselves just as entertained by her observations.

Designed to be enjoyed independently or as an introduction to the series, Meet Sylvia is well suited for home, classroom and library collections-and for travelers looking for a whimsical gift that celebrates curiosity, friendship, and seeing the world through a slightly different pair of eyes.

One teddy bear. One adventure at a time.
