The Traveler

The residents of Shelby, a rural Nebraskan town in in the late 19th Century, are visited by a strange traveler one late-summer night. Upon arriving in the small prairie town the traveler reveals something about himself that strikes awe and fear in the townsfolk. The stranger, after performing an unholy demonstration to a small audience, offers the people an enticing deal. Though the offer is appealing, some of the more keen residence of Shelby see a more sinister side of the traveler's intentions.
