When Tim McCoy was a college boy in Chicago, he saw a Wild West show and found his true calling. Doing ranchwork in Wyoming, he mastered horsemanship and became an expert on Indian lore. After serving as an Army Colonel in World War One, he worked as an Indian Agent, and helped provide Indian extras for the 1923 production of The Covered Wagon. This whetted his appetite for film work and he ultimately became one of the top Cowboy stars of all time. His legendary fast-draw was once clocked at an incredible 0.25 seconds.
