My wife and I have been using this log for over 10 years. We buy 2 each year. The smaller size is very convenient. I do 3 different sports, so the multiple, unlabeled columns are excellent for me. I can arrange the information MY way, not the way a champion marathon runner that only runs would do it. The one week per page format makes it easy to go back to previous years books and compare my current perfomance. My wife is a very casual exerciser and certainly doesn't want to follow the format of a champion marathon runner either. Plenty of ways for her to list her weight lifting, cardio machines, and other Oprah inspired activities. Best for those who want to do things their own way. Probably not so good for puppets.
VERY USEFUL LOG

I was tracking my workouts in a notebook before buying this guide. The layout is a great way to organize notes about your running. In addition there is helpful training information in the log. I recommend this training log.
A Useful Resource for the Serious Runner

I run several days a week, and I like to keep track of the mileage I run, my pace, and my time. This book makes record keeping easy. It is well organized, and easy to read. There are sections for weekly logs, interval training, and race logs. Svensson also provides information on nutrition for runners, strength training, and monitoring your heart rate. It is also compact, and fits easily into your gym bag. If you are looking for a training log, I strongly recommend this book.
