The Tomb Story is a supernatural account of the birth, death and resurrection of es-Jah (the messiah), narrated by the Fallen Angel. Oni, an avatar of the damned, visits es-Jah's tomb after the crucifixion to demean the spirit of god, assail the resurrection and avert Pentecost. Oni implores es-Jah to forgo the resurrection and relinquish its inheritance to Oni so that it can release the spirits of the damned from the scalding bayous of hell and take vengeance against Ra'aɪ (God). Oni rejects the canon as a secular fabrication, while speaking new codices into existence-inviting d m (mankind) to discover their own truth. The Tomb Story is a retelling of the creation story from the perspective of the damned; wherein the anointed forms an armistice with the Fallen Angel, abdicating the blood covenant with d m. The story includes impassioned testimonies from the damned. It's in essence, a coup d' tat against the spirit of salvation and an ode to the darkness in us all.
