The Timeshare

By: Lee Emerick

Welcome to Sunset Shoals Beachfront Resort & Timeshare Villas - where every unit comes furnished, ocean-facing, and set in its own private decade.

Dana Kessler just inherited her late aunt's week. All she has to do is sign a few forms, enjoy the view, and try not to notice that the newspapers never change their date, that the couple in Unit 4 can't seem to leave 1974, or that the fine print mentions guests who "extend their stay... whether by choice or otherwise."

Sixty-four years ago, someone signed a deal to keep this building standing forever. Nobody read the fine print then either. Now something very old is still collecting - and Dana's name is on the bill.

The Timeshare is a horror-comedy about beachfront property, inherited debt, and exactly how far a resort will go to keep its guests checked in.
