The Waiter is back. Unfortunately, so am I.
I had hoped saving the world once might be enough.
It wasn't.
Ancient warnings are surfacing again-this time pointing to a catastrophe tied to bloodlines, buried power, and a family whose reach extends through myth, magic, and history itself. The Waiter knows what is coming. As usual, he also knows more than he is willing to say.
So the team comes back together. Some old friends... and some new "volunteers." I use that word loosely.
A brilliant scientist.
A gifted hacker.
A handful of allies who are only slightly less confused than I am.
And Hercules-the original demigod hero, carrying the kind of strength, attitude, and presence that reminds everyone why legends survive.
As we move through time, confront destruction on a scale I would rather not describe as "biblical," and uncover a plan that has been building for centuries beneath the surface of the world, one thing becomes clear:
this is larger than the last disaster.
And far more personal.
I am once again forced into a world of immortals, legends, impossible choices, and consequences no sane person would volunteer for.
The trouble is, Fate does not seem interested in sane people.
