The story in the novel: Fernando is a university lecturer in Mexico City affected by many loses he had in the past and whose life is threatened by a corrupt policeman, but the end of a trip in a time machine of his invention to the period of the ancient Olmec kingdom will not only save him from the imminent death, it will also change the life of millions of people in Mexico. A story describing the escape of Fernando from current drugs related violence and political corruption in Mexico, the way he intends to run away by illegally crossing the border in Nogales, Arizona, and the light of hope of many immigrants abroad to return home after the change of presidency in Mexico in the year 2018. The story is presented with a mini collage of linked events in the world going thru Spain, United States, France, U.K., India and Japan in order to reveal the magic that exists in the country and makes a trip of this nature possible.
