The road home isn't always on the planet where you live.

Nineteen-year-old super-genius, Emily Grayson, stood by her device as she listened to automatic weapons firing down the street. Then windows near the ceiling of her lab shattered. Bullets and broken glass were flying everywhere. Emily then remembered the note secretly passed to her the day before by one of the senior scientists on her project. "The device you have built is called a Time-Gate. Every nation on Earth will want to take it from you. Use it! Go Home." Just then, the whole building shuddered. Emily screamed as the outside wall of her lab collapsed. She turned and stared at the words 'Use it!' on the note. And though she had no idea what her device did, she reached down and turned it on.
