Fell in love with Cynthis Harrod-Eagles' Bill Slider books -- so nice to have them in these omnibus sets so can you can read them in order!

Another great series entry

I adore these books: the interesting characters, none of whom is unbelievably perfect; the nicely complex plots; and the terrific puns. They are among the mystery series I keep so I can have the pleasure of rereading them. I just wish there were more of them, but there is a limit to how much one author can write if she takes the trouble to create a real world.
