The Things of Christ

In a hymn written by E. E. Hewitt, there is a line, "Spirit of God my teacher be, showing the things of Christ to me." I wanted to know more and so I set out to learn more about Jesus. This book is about what I have found so far.Some of the ideas are very basic and will help the new Christian. In fact, there may be some readers who know nothing about Jesus Christ who want to find out about Him and so I have included a simple guide to the Bible. On the other hand, I hope that mature Christians, of many years in the faith, will say "I have never thought of that before."Some chapters take separate ideas and group them together in what, I think, may be a new way. Other chapters take passages of the Bible which are easily overlooked and explain their significance.Although each chapter can be regarded as "stand alone," I have tried to put a natural progression of ideas through the book
