Book Overview

What if everything you've been taught about your greatest enemy is a lie?

Twelve-year-old Jacq Dyer has always been taught that giants are ruthless monsters. As the daughter of two legendary giant hunters, she's expected to follow in their footsteps and protect her city--a city built from the bones of giants.

But when an accident leaves Jacq stranded deep in the wilderness, she meets Corman, a frightened young giant grieving the loss of his father. As an unlikely friendship begins to grow, Jacq discovers that the stories she's always been told may not be the whole truth. Together, she and Corman must navigate a dangerous world, uncover long-buried secrets, and decide who they can trust before fear and prejudice tear both their worlds apart.
