The Thin Veil: Poems about being in the world

This series of poems explore the journey of the human soul and its connections with the world, both material and immaterial: time, space, nature and our subjective experience of consciousness and 'reality'. They aren't a philosophy or a theory about the subjects which they explore, but simply one person's thoughts and feelings. References to 'soul', 'spirit' or 'being' are only an attempt to conceptualise and speak about phenomena or even possibly 'realities' which exist beyond our concepts. Words such as 'silence', 'being' and 'consciousness' may point to some other level of existence which is in some way 'apart' from the body and the mind, but all I have to share is my being in this world.
