John Moss is a former Miami police detective whose life has gone into a spiraling decline. One night, his old high school girlfriend, Lucy Ventrone-Kemp, pays him a visit. Lucy tells John of her pending move to California and of a large financial debt that her husband, Tony, owes.

Later that same evening, a stranger visits John at his home. Through the stranger's information, John discovers that Tony's large debt is to Tito Vandori. Vandori is the only member of his family not in prison. John arrested the rest of the family many years earlier. The stranger, Matt, also informs John of a 'hit' that Tito Vandori has put on John's life. For reasons unbeknown to Matt, the 'hit' is to be done out in California.

John re-enters a world he thought he had left behind. As his past catches up to his present, John must decide if he is willing to sacrifice his life for an innocent life. Is that life innocent? The wild journey begins ...
