WHAT A SURPRISE

I THOUGHT THE TEST WOULD BE A GOLF STORY, WHICH IT IS, BUT IT IS ALSO AN OUTSTANDING WAR STORY. I RATE THE BOOK HIGHLY, BECAUSE IT BLENDS THE TWO STORY LINES INTO A COMPLETELY SATISFYING TALE FILLED WITH SUSPENSE AND WELL-DEVELOPED CHARACTERS. IT IS A MAN'S BOOK TO BE ENJOYED FOR ITS TWISTS AND TURNS, EXCEPTIONAL DIALOGUE, AND FAST-PACED ACTION.

I loved this book! This isn't only a great book for golfers and golf fans but for anyone looking for a page-turner. I was hooked right away and became lost in the story of a man I couldn't wait to learn more about and was desperate to see succeed. This book was written in a clever fashion with captivating details, humor and suspense. I will be looking out for new books by O'Rourke.
