The Tenets

The Tenets begins at the scene of one of the most important events in the history of the human race, the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. John Marcus, an orphan boy, and disciple of Christ, is accepted by Mother Mary as a son. John's life begins to shadow the life of Jesus as he develops relationships with Mary Magdalene and the other apostles.

John Marcus is inspired by Mother Mary to be the author of the teachings of Jesus that can guide his followers in the event that the second coming of Christ is delayed beyond the lifetime of his contemporaries.

Although John agrees to be the scribe of the Gospel, he is conflicted by the crosscurrents of life in the Holy Land. As the product of a Roman father and a Jewish mother, the warriors' blood of his Roman heritage courses through his veins.

The Tenets is a compelling tale following John Marcus as he strikes out against the oppressors of Jews while unraveling the mysteries of the teachings of Jesus.
