Slate Boardinghouse is a quaint two-story house located on the outskirts of a close-knit community. It was no wonder everyone was interested in the new tenant that mysteriously appeared at the boardinghouse. He was handsome and charming with frightfully intense dark eyes. A Godsend according to the elderly owner, Mrs. Slate and her son Milton, even young, cancer-ridden Selina seemed to come alive in his presence.
