This work investigates where the seven-day creation pattern is found in the books of the Old Testament, from Exodus to Malachi. An earlier book called The Temple Pattern and the Patriarchs covers Genesis and the Pearl of Great Price. In many stories and biblical events, there is a sequence which follows the seven period chronology of creation as recorded in Genesis 1-3. Our spiritual creation, whereby we progress from telestial, to terrestrial, to celestial, follows the same blueprint as the earth's physical creation, done in seven parts. At the center of our spiritual lives is the transformative event of rebirth, when we are endowed with increased light, the knowledge of God's love, revealed to us through the Holy Ghost. This is comparable to the greater light that occurred at the center of physical creation on day four. Before this, there were lesser life forms (telestial), and afterwards the greater life forms appeared (celestial). In the stories of the Old Testament there is often a fall, followed by a pivotal transformative event which reveals Christ, altering thereafter the direction of the story, which commonly brings blessings and promises, leading to a return to where the story started. This journey represents God's plan of Salvation, the process whereby we can return to our Father in Heaven's presence.
