I was born in South Louisiana in 1942, in the grip of World War II. Toys were scarce to nonexistent, and you had to make do with whatever you could find. Military school and boarding schools replaced my childhood years.
It wasn't till I had reached seventy that my imagination of my lost childhood turned to writing children's stories. I could now live as a child through my written adventures on the pages of a story.
There is nothing in this world that can match the joy of a child reading and living their life through their imagination.
