A profiss o docente nas representa es sociais de professores: um estudo com docentes em in cio de carreira (The teaching profession in the social representations of teachers: a study with teachers at the start of their careers), a publication organized by researcher Marcella Thaiane de Lima Silva, reaches the reading public as a study that addresses the social representations of the teaching profession of teachers at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), Brazil. The idea of studying the teaching profession from the point of view of the Theory of Social Representations came about as a result of joining the "Social Representations and Education" research group.
