Great classroom scenes

This book has some excellent classroom vignettes to read and discuss with preservice teachers. For inservice teachers the scenes might be a place to start with ideas for teaching. The second chapter goes into a lot of detail about how the British curriculum came to be, while this has strong parallels with US curriculum development it might be a chapter for skimming rather than studying. Overall Wynn Harlen's publications are very thought provoking and have great depth of thinking.
