The youngest son of a Vidalia Onion farmer and co-owner of an international travel agency finds himself embroiled in a multi-layered mystery of murder, stolen World War II art and a deadly plan for... This description may be from another edition of this product.
Wow! If other books of this genre were half as good I would read more of them. The characters are totally convincing and engaging -- not like the cardboard cutouts in so many mystery novels. And the plot is just amazing. I'm so glad that a mind that can come up with something like this is on our side and not theirs. My only quibble is that the publisher should have hired a copy editor or proof reader, preferably one with French, but the errors weren't so distracting that it kept me from enjoying the book immensely.
The Tate Revenge

Excellent story line. Easy reading. Very creative mystery. Would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good, clean mystery. A perfect example of a great story without excessive sex and violence or foul language.

Don't plan on getting anything else done when you start reading this one! Our group is eagerly looking forward to Rawlings' next book entitled 'Crossword'! Read, read, read!!!!
Well done!

This book was well written; in fact I enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed The DaVinci Code--maybe more, because I recognized many of the landmarks in The Tate Revenge. I felt as if I were transported to the various locales, and I thought the interwoven stories of the divorce from Colette and particularly, the fate of the Tate girls' father added depth to the story. Good job, Dr. Rawlings!
Another Captivating Novel

Once again, Dr. Rawlings combines mystery, romance, suspense, and intrigue to captivate his readers. The action begins in Paris, France, and it culminates in Atlanta, Georgia. You won't believe what happens in Chapter 52! All of you adventure fans will certainly want to add this one to your library. I believe it is the best of Dr. Rawlings' novels.
