Another great read from Sandra, very funny & very hot indead

I cannot think about Sandra's books without having a smile on my face. And when I read them, which I have done loads of times I am in stitches. Eirik and Eadyth are another of Sandra's perfectly matched couples. They will have in tears of laughter with their antics. Especially when you read about Eirik standing on his head.Thank you Sandra for giving us another marvelous story in your Viking series. I love them all.

3rd Book in the Viking Series is 5 stars!

This is the 3rd book in the Viking Series. This is the story of Erik, the eldest son of Thork from the first book called 'The Reluctant Viking'. Erik is 31 and has been married once, he was duped and doesn't intend to make the same mistake twice. Until Eadyth of Hawk's Lair comes to him with a marriage proposal he can't refuse.Eadyth wants nothing to do with men, but she needs a husband to protect her and her 7 year old son John from her most hated enemy. She goes to Erik of Ravenshire for help. Erik shares her hatred for the evil Steven of Gravely. He marries her in name only to protect her and her son in order to get to his enemy. He never intended to fall in love with the 'Tarnished Silver Jewel of Northumbria'.This story was Sandra Hill's usual humorous and sexy romp of romantic history. I loved it immensely. Erik is sexy and funny with the things that happen between them when they are trying NOT to fall in love with one another. Eadyth is a beekeeper and the scrapes that happen are hysterical.One thing Sandra Hill is able to do that not many authors achieve is the use of children and pets in her stories. She makes them secondary characters you grow to love and laugh with. In this particular story you will get a kick out of the wedding 'gift' Tykir, Erik's younger brother and main character to the last book-The Bewitched Viking, gives to Eadyth. I was on the floor laughing. "Show me yer legs..." hahahaha, you will know what I mean when you read it, it is hysterical! The entire Viking Series is excellent! And my favorite character is Tykir....ahhh, he is so sexy and sweet, he will make you melt. His book is last, the 4th in the series after Erik's........1. The Reluctant Viking--2. Passionate Romance

I just love Sandra Hill's series of Viking Romance novels. But this is my absolute favorite one. She is able to bring the characters to life and she is just an absolute master at creating and building up the suspense toward the passion. I have fallen in love with her work and can't wait for more to come out.

I love historical romance, though sometimes the stories tend to be similar. Sandra Hill's Viking series is great and DIFFERENT.

TOTAL AND COMPLETE ROMANCE AT ITS BEST!!

Lady Eadyth proposes marriage to Eirik of Ravenshire and the ride never ends. This book is the most. I could not wait to get back to find out what would happen next. Extremely funny in parts so much so that you laugh out loud and your husband will wonder what your reading. Edge of your seat page turner. The physical and emotional and sexual attraction once they recognize it is extremely powerful. She is a strong woman used to running her own life and hates having to depend on a man to protect her son from evil. Eirik plays an equally strong man who underestimates the power of love. Surprise ending too. Definitely a keeper.
