Created by billionaires, it is completely self-sustaining and has excluded nature completely from the village while surrounded by an abundance of natural life. The isolation and the unintended contradiction of a controlled environment in Tranquility in the midst of a rainforest creates hostile factions. The village formed on utopian principles and democracy begins to unravel. Some of the issues that drive the drama are questioning the reason for Tranquility's existence, human evolution, genetic engineering, flooded cities, rainforest life, whether it's the end of the line for Home sapiens, and Mother Earth reaching out ... among others.
