The wacky, wild, whimsical (fictional) world of Sammy "Speed Demon" is full of adventure, discovery, and lessons about living life. Reminiscent to John Henry and Paul Bunyan, this children's book is a story meant to be enjoyed by readers of all ages. Dedicated to Stanley Amorino/Grandpa A. (my grandfather) in the setting of his favorite book genre: Westerns. A young boy filled with determination and kindness, a supportive mother and father mechanic duo, a lone ranger and a royal horse, three dangerous outlaws, one tough sheriff with a passion for justice, a scheming gloved individual, and more. A story with humor, action, heartfelt emotion and loosely based on actual nuggets of historical information (but as a tall tale of course).The intentional writing style of not describing characters is meant to allow the reader to envision their own pictures of what the people and places are like and is at its best when reading out loud.
