The Tale of Pumpkin Jack

When Jackson Crawley was six, his parents bought him a few pumpkin seeds. He grew these few seeds into a grand pumpkin patch, unlike any the citizens of Lenston had ever seen. They came to Jack's pumpkin patch every year to buy his wondrous pumpkins. Shortly before Jack's twentieth birthday, his parents fell ill and died. Devastated by the loss of his parents, he locked himself in his cottage, and was never seen again. He began to hear voices that told him his pumpkins deserved to live and they needed bodies. People began to vanish from Jack's pumpkin patch, and the villagers suspected he was practicing witchcraft. Ten years after Jack disappeared, a young boy approached Jack's cottage on a dare, and witnessed Jack casting a spell to turn a child into a pumpkin person. The boy ran into town exclaiming what he saw. The townspeople were furious, and they arrested Jack. They decided to execute him, but when they did, something they never would have expected happened.
