The Kiwi is a New Zealand flightless bird, and an Icon and people like to call themself as a Kiwi. A Swiss-Kiwi is an Immigrant from Switzerland and became a nationalised New Zealander. This book is the continuation of my memoir The Foster Boy. It is easy to read as a stand-alone story. A young Immigrant to New Zealand from Switzerland with minimal English-speaking knowledge had no problem getting into a little romance to start off. On arrival Ben Hirscher was not sure what he got himself into. New Zealand was behind in time, compared to the rest of the world at that time. Nothing decimal or metric, even the Sun is in the North and the bathwater goes down the gurgler anti clock way. There was a lot to learn and adapt to fit into the New Zealand way of life. It is a lively and informative story with lots of up and down moments and many travel experiences.
